If all of the jargon above scares you, don’t worry- it’s my job to worry about those things for you!

Here is the rest of my story:

I’ve  always been a “computer geek” – although I only recently procured the glasses to go along with the personality. Building websites and coding has been a part of my life for 24 years!

Professionally, I studied Music Composition at Chapman University and graduated in 2005 with a BA in Music with honors. I paid some of my way through music school as a help desk technician in the IT department, fixing computers and sometimes doing some website work.

I found a passion in teaching piano, violin, and music theory at a local music studio during my junior year.  My  careers began to take shape at this time.

A few years after graduation, I opened a multi teacher music school in Irvine, CA. Our studio grew to about 200 students  while I continued to work as a website developer and designer (at a design/branding firm, and freelance).

I found myself out of place in Orange County, so I moved about 45 minutes north to Long Beach in 2010 and “started over.” I currently am fortunate enough to have a full piano studio with a wait list and a growing number of music studios as website clients!

In my free time (prior to the pandemic!),  I have always tried to make time to give back to my community in some capacity whenever possible. In 2019, I switched gears from volunteering with an animal rescue organization to  volunteering at our local children’s hospital, alongside the music therapist.

I enjoy photography, bike riding, creating new recipes, practicing musical instruments (for enjoyment!), and hanging out with my two rescue dogs, Buddy & Bebe.

WebMaestra's Philosophy

Transparency

I take pride in my work and therefore, I am upfront and honest every step of the way.

You will always know what you are paying for, how much approximate time it will take, and how much it costs beforehand.
Integrity

Many web designers outsource important development work and charge a premium for a product that is sub-par. I am strongly against this practice.

I am the one who does the work.

Personalization

Your website is an important marketing tool used to paint an engaging picture of your business.

I will work closely and directly with you to create a website that accurately and positively reflects your music lesson business.
Expertise

Proven marketing experience specific to music lessons as well as unique and versatile technical and copywriting skillsets.

This combination allows me to code, design, and even provide content for your website.
